CRCC’s Weekend Respite Program gives caregivers a break from the intense structure of weekly routines, providing a relaxing experience for you and a fun experience for your child.
Nestled in our wooded, park-like property at CRCC Northwest, this program operates within a secure, state-of-the-art facility. Our expert team organizes both group and individual activities that support gross and fine motor skill development. Children have the opportunity to play indoors and outdoors with an always-changing variety of fun and educational exercises, like games, music, arts and crafts, cooking, socializing with friends or enjoying quiet time.
Inclusive, themed parties
Whether it’s an alien encounter at our “Out of This World Weekend,” an indoor snowball fight at our “Weekend Winter Wonderland,” a karaoke sing-off at our “American Idol Showdown,” or telling ghost stories at our “Spooktacular Saturday,” our quarterly themed weekends add even more fun to the program experience.
Each theme has different activities, entertainment and special treats. It’s a great opportunity for your child to enjoy a party atmosphere that’s designed to fit their unique needs.
Our Weekend Respite Program is a licensed Respite Care Service by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Our program is available from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. You can choose to have your child attend any preferred hours during this time frame. Please make a reservation in advance to ensure that adequate supplies and staffing are available.
