Learning Resources

While CRCC provides many learning opportunities within our programs and services, we’ve also created ways for families to bond, learn and have fun at home.

Learning Together at Home

Many families and caregivers are looking for ways to keep children engaged and learning while spending time at home. In partnership with Pinnacle Bank and KMTV 3, CRCC launched the Learning Together at Home series.

Our Activity Packet features tons of fun, outcomes-based projects that are easy for parents and fun for children ages 0-8. Each activity helps children develop a variety of important skills, such as critical thinking, patience, following directions, perseverance, reflection and more.

Reading Together at Home

Reading Together at Home is an opportunity for families to engage and connect through literacy. Each month, CRCC features a different book reading paired with a fun activity that engages families to work together in competing for a prize.

Everyone in the community is invited to share and participate. Check out our event calendar to register for upcoming Reading Together at Home events.

Tech Tools Lending Library

The Tech Tools Lending Library, a program of United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska, is a wonderfully unique resource for individuals with special needs. The library contains adapted toys, assistive technology and other life-skills materials that can be checked out and used to fit each individual’s needs. This resource is free and open for community use. Come visit the Tech Tools Lending Library at both CRCC centers.

The library’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
