Telehealth Speech-Language Therapy

CRCC’s new Telehealth Speech-Language Therapy service provides effective therapy sessions to our clients and families of the Omaha community from the comfort of their own home.

Our Telehealth Speech-Language Therapy services offer live, one-on-one video appointments with a CRCC therapists. Our therapists will work with Nebraska children 3-19 years old to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders. Through CRCC’s Telehealth speech-language therapy, our therapists will give parents and children the tools they need to improve their verbal/nonverbal language and social skills. This service allows children to receive time with CRCC therapists when they are unable to come to CRCC facilities or do not have the means to do so.

Most health insurance companies are now covering Telehealth Therapy. All you need to access sessions is an internet-connected device with a camera and microphone, such as a computer, cell phone or iPad.

Why Telehealth?

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, CRCC noticed many families are experiencing heightened levels of anxiety and depression, whether it’s learning how to best live together in confinement or coping with a sense of loss from missing major life events and milestones. During this time, it is now more difficult than ever to manage our routines, emotions and wellbeing. This motivated CRCC to find a way to follow out our mission of joy, hope and health to families of the Omaha community who need us the most. Through Telehealth Therapy, we can continue to meet the needs of our clients on a regular basis while our centers are temporarily closed.
