CRCC COVID-19 UPDATE

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

Welcome to CRCC!  Below you will find updates on our facilities, specialized services, and what our team is doing to unite, grow and lead in the Omaha community.

Our Northwest location is now open for current Northwest and Southwest clients. All CRCC staff will be following the CDC and DHHS guidelines set forth to ensure a safe environment. If you are interested in reserving care for your child please contact our Admissions Team at admissions@crccomaha.org. ALL CRCC clients are invited to receive care at our NW location.

CRCC’s Learning Together at Home curriculum is now open to the Omaha community. This curriculum includes a kit that contains a schedule for 30+ days of activities, supplies to complete those activities, and access to educational video content for daily guidance. For more information on Learning Together at Home, please visit the Learning Together at Home page under “What We Do.”

We will be offering 2020 summer camp if there is enough interest from clients and families in the community. Some summer camp activities may result in becoming virtual. Our camps are open to children school age to transition ages. We are reaching out to all CRCC families about summer camp. If you do not receive a call, please let us know by emailing us at admissions@crccomaha.org.

CRCC is now providing Telehealth Therapy services to our families and the Omaha community. Telehealth is a great advantage to our children and their families, and we will continue this service even after both centers reopen. We are offering OT, PT, SLP, and Behavioral Health via Telehealth services. For more information on our Telehealth services, click here!

Omaha Gives is a day for our community to come together for 24 hours to give as much as possible to support the work of public 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the metro area. We had a record breaking year, raising $63,511. Thank you for investing in our mission to provide joy, hope, and health to our clients everyday.

Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 we canceled our Moonbeams & Big Dreams 30th anniversary gala, scheduled for May 9. Stay tuned as we work through the details and set a new date to recognize our 30+ incredible years.

Please follow CDC guidelines to help prevent your child from contracting the virus, monitor your child for possible COVID-19 symptoms and follow CDC recommended protocol if you suspect your child is ill.

Thank you for placing your trust in CRCC as we continue to find new solutions. Expect more detailed updates via email communications.

Please contact Anne Constantino at 402-895-4000 with any additional questions.

Watch This!

Each day, in countless ways, our expert team of educators and health care providers celebrate achievements

with our CRCC children and families. Jubilant shouts of, “Watch this!” ring through our halls. Often these successes are for

accomplishments they have been told would never be possible for a child with such complex needs.

The most impactful aspect of CRCC is the integration of care. Our ability to bring therapy and education into a setting where all children can participate, learn and grow is really incredible. Each and every day you can walk through our centers and witness collaboration among departments. Therapists and classroom teachers are working together to promote participation in classroom activities.
