9:30 a.m. - Big Dreams Begins! All areas of Big Dreams are open for attendees to enjoy including: 
  • The Main Stage - featuring local performances and two national stage show acts: Koo Koo and Peppa Pig & George
  • The Patio - Food Trucks & Stands
  • The Pavilion - Beverage Tent
  • The Possibility Playground - Kids Activity Area
  • The Village - Retail Vendors & Community Partner booths

The Possibility Playground

The Possibility Playground is the heart of Big Dreams’ family fun experience—a hands-on, interactive area filled with activities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, imagination, and joy. From art and music to games, movement, sensory experiences, and special community partners, children of all ages and abilities are invited to explore, discover, and dream big.

Volunteers Make Big Dreams Possible! Big Dreams is more than a festival — it’s a community effort built by people who want to create connection, joy, and unforgettable experiences for Omaha families. From the Race for Big Dreams and kids activities to vendor support, festival operations, guest experience, and more, it takes many helping hands to bring an event like this to life.

Big Dreams FAQ

How do I pickup my race packet?
Race packet pickup begins at 8 a.m. in Stinson Park on event day. Look for signage near the Fun Run & 5K registration area.

What is the route for the race?
The Fun Run & 5K route can be found on our Race Page.

Where can I park?
Free parking is available throughout Aksarben Village and in nearby public parking lots and garages.

Will there be food and drink for purchase?
Yes! A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on site offering food, beverages, and treats for purchase throughout the event.

Is there seating? Can I bring chairs/blankets?
Limited seating will be available throughout the festival near the food trucks and in the Pavilion. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy stage performances and activities comfortably.

Where are the bathrooms?
Restrooms are available on the west end of the park. Please refer to the event map for exact restroom locations.

Is the area fenced in?
Yes! The entire area is fenced in, and there are entrances at the NW and NE corners.
