Telehealth Behavioral Therapy 


CRCC is now providing Telehealth Therapy to those isolated at home. Our telehealth services offer live, one-on-one video appointments with a CRCC Behavioral Health therapists from the comfort of your home. Most health insurance companies are now covering telehealth. All you need to access sessions is an internet-connected device with a camera and microphone, such as a computer, cell phone or iPad. 

 

It’s more difficult than ever to manage our routines, emotions and wellbeing. Many families are experiencing heightened levels of anxiety and depression, whether it’s learning how to best live together in confinement or coping with a sense of loss from missing major life events and milestones. Our therapists provide Nebraska children ages 3 to 19 and their families a sense of stability, continuity of care and guidance on how to adjust to our new, restrictive environments

 

Steps for registering for CRCC's Telehealth Behavioral Therapy

Who is offering these services?

CRCC's Therapists will be offering each of the Telehealth services. While we cannot guarantee that the therapist you prefer will have an opening, we do our best to match you with a therapist that can best meet your needs.

Who is eligible?

Nebraska children ages 3 to 21 years old. 

What times and days can I schedule sessions? How long are sessions?

Session times will be agreed upon with the family. Sessions are one hour in length. 

What are Telemental health services and when are they used?

Telemental health services are used when mental health staff cannot be physically present with you to evaluate your mental health needs.  Mental health staff may be present at another location and available to serve you through available technology such as audio and or video. This allows mental health staff to make a better evaluation of your needs.  Available technology may include:  Zoom, Google Hangouts and Google voice. 

How do Telemental health services work?

You will be in a private room either by yourself or with a family member.  The mental health staff will also be in a private room but at another location.  When the session is ready to begin, the therapist will reach out to the client via the agreed upon method of communication of audio and or video. When the session is over, the therapist will disconnect audio and or visual equipment.

How is it different than a regular session with mental health staff?

Other than you and your therapist not being in a room together, there is very little difference in the session. Your therapist will ask and document clinical information that you share with him/her, and ensure that documentation is included in your clinical record for future reference.

What happens if I choose not to consent to Telemental health services?

If you choose not to consent to Telemental health services, we will be unable to provide you with convenient and readily available services, and your services will be rescheduled for a later date and/or a different site.
