Tiffany Martinez, PLMHP
Tiffany is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Nebraska. Tiffany completed her undergraduate education at Bellevue University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2010, before going on to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling degree from Bellevue University in 2017.
Tiffany has experience working with children ages 0-19 years old that experienced abandonment, solicitation, drug, alcohol exposure and trauma. Additionally, Tiffany worked in the social work field since she was 19 years old working with children and families in the foster care system including programs like Child Savings Institute, Owens Associates, Beneficial and Nebraska Children’s Home Society. She has experience working with children at risk through Heartland Family Service, residential treatment facilities for both youth and adults who have experienced trauma, mental health and addictions through CHI Health. Tiffany worked with children and families through Daybreak Behavior Health. Tiffany’s interests include working with children and families with trauma, anxiety, suicide, self-harm, ADHD, Oppositional Deficiency Disorder (ODD), addictions, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and other mental health disorders. Tiffany utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Management, Reward Economy, Parent Child Interactive Therapy, Person Center Approach, Zones of Regulation and Motivational Interviewing. Tiffany understands every child and family is unique and must meet each client where they are at to help them achieve their goals.
Melissa Ellison, Clinical Supervisor, LIMHP
Melissa is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP). She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science in 2009, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling in 2013, both from Bellevue University. Melissa’s experience includes individual, family, and group therapy. She has worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings, addressing severe behaviors, trauma, anxiety, etc.
Melissa was trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) at the University of Oklahoma, and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ACES, Circle of Security, and Teacher-Child Interaction Training (TCIT).
