(Omaha, Neb.) – In May, CRCC announced it was selected as a 2021 Business Excellence Award winner in Innovation by the Greater Omaha Chamber. “Innovation is a core value of CRCC and drives everything we do,” said Anne Constantino, CRCC CEO. “Every day we work to care for children in new and innovative ways, but in 2020 we had an opportunity to flex our innovation muscles as we had to quickly pivot our entire business model to best serve our children and their families.”
Weather across the country is heating up, and it’s the perfect time to get out and enjoy mother nature. As it turns out, when it comes to spending time outside, the benefits go far beyond the fresh air.
It’s Okay to Say “NO”
Often, adults have the attitude that children should not say “no” or question authority. However, it’s best to hear a child’s “no” as a way of disagreeing. We want children to say “no” when faced with peer pressure and inappropriate situations. The tricky part is meeting in the middle and teaching children how to disagree respectfully, and, as a mom, it’s even harder to look into your own parenting habits.
We are thrilled to announce our staff members were able to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in late January. With the first round of vaccines complete, CRCC employees are feeling excited and hopeful for a return to normalcy!
