Occupational Therapy

The Occupational Therapy Team at CRCC specializes in working with a pediatric population with a wide range of diagnosis, medical complexities, cognitive challenges and developmental delays.

As specialists in fine motor impairments, Occupational Therapists use meaningful activities to teach skills for life. They are also trained in neurological development and how the many sensory systems work together to allow for optimal function in daily tasks.

They develop a treatment protocol and use a variety of treatment techniques to guide children in becoming successful at play, with learning, and when socializing with friends.

Our therapists provide evaluation, treatment and consultation in the following areas:

  • Fine Motor/Handwriting Skills
  • Play & Socialization
  • Sensory Integration
  • Organizing and Planning their Motor Skills
  • Oral Motor Functioning
  • Self-Help & Hygiene
