Hope for the family in tough times
CRCC’s behavioral health department strives to help build healthy, happy and successful children and families. It employs licensed mental health professionals who are prepared to help your family work on behavioral problems, confront emotional concerns or tackle problems related to a developmental disability. Skilled behavioral health experts stand by parents during difficult times, coaching them every step of the way. With CRCC as a partner, you’re never alone.
CRCC’s therapy services are available to children, parents and families, and now feature Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Therapists help families find practical solutions that work. All therapy services are goal oriented and focus on using family/client strengths. Problems commonly addressed by CRCC therapists include behavior problems, illness, anger management, depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma (abuse/neglect), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), developmental disabilities and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
CRCC therapists are prepared to create treatment plans to address specific behavioral problems. They conduct what is referred to as a functional behavior assessment to determine what is driving a behavior and then work with the family to develop a plan to cease the behavior altogether.
Group therapy services are available in conjunction with day program services and mental health therapy services. The focus of group therapy may include social success, social skills, self-regulation, self-control, emotional regulation and anger management. Check today to see which groups are available and appropriate for your child.
